After School Art - Spring Session

Tuesdays, Wednesdays OR Thursdays, February 26 - April 3, 2008:
Fine Art with Andrea Wlodarczyk, for ages 5 to 12 (3:00 - 5:00)
Our experienced instructor will introduce fine art concepts. An art history lesson will complement each project. A variety of media and techniques will be explored… This program is so enriching, educational and fun that our students typically return for repeat sessions.

Monday, February 26 - March 31, 2008:
The Fabulous World of Fashion Design with Loraine Scalamoni,
for ages 9 & up (4:00 – 5:30)
From the fashion hub of New York City, Loraine brings her experience to you! She taught at the Parsons School of Design (of Project Runway Fame) and the Fashion Institute of Technology. You will learn how to draw croquis figure and design garments, including fabric swatches. For anyone interested in fashion, this is the class for you.

After School Clay with Heather McLelland, for ages 7 and up (3 - 5:00)
*We will explore basic clay skills. Exciting projects will include coil pots, pinch pots and slab work. You’ll have a blast experimenting with texture and painting with bright glazes.

Wednesdays, February 27 - April 2, 2008:
Homeschool Clay with Renato Abbate for ages 7 and up (9:30-11:30) *see description above.

SESSION 2: February 25 - April 3
Classes are one day per week for 6 weeks

*Many of our students arrive at 3:15 or 3:30 due to the school schedules. They will have time for the complete lesson.

Please bring a healthy snack & water bottle!
Wear clothes that are suitable for art…you might get messy!
